Last month, our class decided to design a T-shirt for the school Arts Festival.
We talked about the theme first — since the festival’s topic was “Friendship and Fashion”, we wanted the T-shirt to show both.
First, we discussed the colour.
Some students liked blue because it’s calm and represents friendship.
Others wanted red for energy.
Finally, we chose light blue — it’s soft and fits everyone.
Next, the pattern.
We thought of polka dots and stripes, but they were too common.
Then, one student suggested a pattern of holding hands — each hand has a small fashion element, like a shoe or a hat.
We all agreed it was perfect.
For the logo, we decided to put our class number “8(2)” in the middle of the hands.
We also added a small sentence under it: “Friends in Style”.
After drawing the draft, we showed it to our art teacher.
She helped us adjust the colours to make them brighter.
Finally, we sent the design to a factory.
When we got the T-shirts, everyone was excited.
We wore them to the Arts Festival, and many other classes praised our design.
This experience taught us that teamwork is important — everyone’s ideas helped make the T-shirt special.
It also showed us that fashion can be a way to express friendship.
